Access Control
The Access Control module forms the basis of every Time&Space system. It maintains a common database with data about users, badges, access points, access rights, and collected logs. It also provides the business logic, of who can go where and when, as well as alarm management with prioritised alarm stack.
Visual monitoring of access events represented as icons and popups against maps is also included as standard.
Access control acts as the application framework for supporting higher level and add-on software modules, such as visitor management and video integration. Time management can also be regarded as an add-on, as it relies upon the same underlying data set.
